Our Load Compartment Inspections (LCI), or hold cleanliness inspections, are performed by experienced and qualified surveyors who are familiar with the relevant rules and regulations (GMP+).
About the service
We thoroughly carry out sampling and analysing tasks according to internationally recognised standards such as GMP+, ISO, EFMA, CEN and IFIA. We identify risks and problems with loading, discharge and trans-shipment, then look for the best solutions before it is too late. We inspect the holds of your vessel, barge or coaster with absolute precision to verify whether they are clean, dry and free of debris from previous cargoes and ready to safely load and carry your cargo.
As part of our standard procedure, we check and judge the previously carried cargoes and provide either acceptance or rejection of the holds. Our surveyors can also perform cleanliness inspections on bulk/tank trucks and warehouses.
