Are you an experienced HR professional with a knack for organization and a passion for employee engagement?
We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage key HR operations, support recruitment and selection processes, and ensure our office runs like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes across multiple states.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and proper documentation.
- Assist with initial interviews and scheduling meetings for managers.
HR Operations & Employee Support:
- Onboard and offboard employees, managing access to computers, accounts, and credit cards.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide general HR support and answer employee questions.
- Manage company telephone lines and distribute calls.
Administration & Office Support:
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs.
- Greet guests and new employees, maintaining a welcoming office environment.
- Advise on corporate policies, benefits, and labor regulations.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate office events and maintain communication with external service providers.
Tax Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Administer state and federal payroll tax compliance.
- Coordinate payroll tax filings and payments.
- Oversee Workers’ Compensation compliance.
Document Management & Compliance:
- File and organize HR-related documents.
- Ensure records retention and confidentiality.
Insurance Management and Vendor Relations:
- Ensure health, life, and vehicle insurance policies are up to date.
- Coordinate with external providers for insurance administration.
Employee Engagement:
- Assist with corporate integration and wellness initiatives.
- Support employee training and professional development programs.
- Coordinate and execute office events.
IT & Systems Coordination:
- Set up new employees’ computers and manage system access.
- Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, accounting, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment regulations (FLSA, ACA, OSHA, anti-discrimination laws).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with HR platforms.
- HRIS background is a plus.
