Job Description:
– Liaising with company personnel, subcontractors, vessel agents, and terminal agents to facilitate execution of orders
– Conducting draft surveys (and any other related surveys)
– Carrying out cargo surveys and hold inspections
– Witnessing sample preparation
– Advising the company and clients on job progress
– Handling samples and recording sample data
– Sampling bulk commodities
– Checking and verifying documentation received from the company or subcontractors to ensure accuracy
– Issuing reports and certificates
– Providing necessary documentation and samples to clients via email, fax, mail, or courier as required
– Assisting with miscellaneous duties

Requirements:
– 5 years of experience as a Draft Surveyor in ports
– Marine qualification
– Driver’s license
– Proficient in English (written and spoken)
– Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
– Attention to detail

Work location: Sept-Iles (G4R 0B3) – On the road

Terms of employment: Full-time -Permanent

Salary: 77,300 annually / 80 hours bi-weekly
